The Huskie Tools REC-RLC7610 15 Ton Pistol Grip Crimping Tool is specially engineered for the rigorous demands of utility linemen. With a 2" jaw opening that accommodates aluminum up to 1250 MCM and copper up to 1500 MCM, this tool delivers 15 tons of crimping force, ensuring secure and reliable connections. It excels in handling cables above 750 MCM and is particularly effective for larger underground cables up to 1000 MCM, where additional crimping force is needed for compressing larger lugs, terminals, and sleeves on tension connections. This tool accepts both “P” type and “U” type industry standard die sets, ensuring versatility across various applications. The REC-RLC7610 features a protective rubber boot on its “C” head to prevent accidental contact with energized circuits, enhancing safety during operation. Its open “C” head design allows easy placement over connectors without the need to close a latch before starting the crimping cycle, while the 180° rotating head maximizes maneuverability in tight workspaces. Designed for durability, it’s backed by a 5-year tool and 3-year battery Huskie Tools® limited warranty and is rated for 75kV live line operations.
