The Share Cart button lets you email your current cart to anyone — a supervisor, a purchasing manager, a crewmate, or even yourself on a different device. They’ll receive a full list of the items in your cart, pricing details, and a direct link to load those items in one click. No account is required to receive a shared cart.
How to Share Your Cart
- Add your items to the cart as normal.
- Open your cart drawer.
- Select Email this cart to send via email, or choose Copy link to share to copy a shareable link you can paste anywhere — text message, Teams, Slack, or email.
- If emailing, your email app will open with a pre-filled message. Add the recipient’s address and hit send.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the recipient see in the email?
They receive a full itemized list with product names, SKUs, quantities, and prices — plus a direct link to load everything into their own cart. They can review the list before clicking anything.
Does clicking the link replace their cart or add to it?
It adds to it. If the recipient already has items in their cart, the shared items are added on top. Nothing gets removed.

Will they see my account pricing?
Not automatically. B2B pricing applies to the account logged in at checkout. Call 1-800-421-3360 to set up additional users on a company account.
Does the link expire?
No. Share Cart links are permanent. However, stock and pricing can change. The email includes the date the cart was shared so everyone knows how fresh it is.
What if an item goes out of stock before the link is clicked?
Shopify skips that item silently while the rest of the cart loads normally. Always review the cart after loading to confirm all items were added successfully.
Can I share a cart with multiple people?
Yes. Forward the email or copy the link to as many people as needed. The same link works every time.
What is the “Copy link to share” button for?
Use it to share your cart without opening your email app. Paste the link into a text message, Teams, Slack, or anywhere else.
Can I use this to move my cart from phone to desktop?
Yes. Build your cart on your phone, copy the link or share it to yourself, then open it later on your desktop when you're back at the office.
