12 Ton Remote Hydraulic Compression Head
EP-510HC
The EP-510HC is a remote C-head that requires an external 10,000 psi pumping source. It accepts all "U" type dies used with conventional 12 ton compression tools. The larger jaw opening of 1.65" accepts conductors and mid-span sleeve connections up to 750 MCM. The EP-510HC is supplied with a 3/8" male screw type coupler and metal carrying case and die tray. We recommend the use of our nonconductive high pressure hose.; NOTE: When using any of these high-pressure tools always use 10,000 psi rated non-conductive hose (NC-16 series).
- 12-Ton Hydraulic Compression Force. Provides the power needed to crimp large lugs, splices, and connectors reliably in demanding utility and electrical applications.
- Wide 1.65″ Jaw Opening. Accommodates large conductors and mid-span sleeves up to 750 MCM, expanding capability for big-gauge and multi-core applications.
- Compatible with Standard “U” Type Dies. Works with all common 12-ton U-type dies, giving crews flexibility to use existing die inventories without special adapters.
- Protective Rubber Boot on Compression Head. Shields the tool’s critical areas from impact and environmental wear, extending tool life and reliability in rugged job-site conditions.
- Remote Hydraulic Operation with Screw-Type Coupler. Designed for use with external 10,000 psi hydraulic pumps and includes a 3/8″ male coupler for secure and quick hose connections — improving productivity and setup ease.
