Bethea Handline Block

The Bethea HLB-1250SH is a popular top-opening hand line block with swivel eye and safety hook. The frame, head and sheave are constructed of high strength A356-T6 aluminum alloy and rated for 1250 lbs. The 3" free running sheave has permanently lubed and shielded ball bearings that operate on the 5/8" diameter steel axle. Swivel eye is made of high strength forged steel and is fastened to head with welded nut for positive security. The open head block has one 5/16" steel roll pin, capped with tinner rivets, and one 5/16" steel detente pin. The detente pin is secured with a welded steel chain. The 3" free running sheave is machined to exacting tolerances for greater lifting efficiency.
