They were odd and tough to break in at first, but after 3 weeks they're fully broken in and working great for me.

Definitely worth it

So far, the break in period is lasting longer than other boots. I've only ever broken in 1 pair of full grain leather before, but these take the cake. Once broken in, I was told these boots provide unparalleled security on the pole while wearing belt and gaffs. And that's about the experience I have. I've only had to climb in them a handful of times, but I'd gladly be purchasing more from here on out.
