Utility Solutions Meter Grabber is an indispensable tool for electric meter installation, removal or change-outs. The Meter Grabber provides superior protection from exploding meters due to faults. Operator protection is paramount therefore the Meter Grabber has no metal components on the working end. Side slots permit venting of any out gassing. The working end of the tool provides a positive capture around the entire base, eliminating the chance of a dropped or broken meter as well as offering additional mechanical leverage when removing stubborn meters. Molded of a rugged polymer the tool is rugged, lightweight and tinted to allow the operator to visually observe the entire operation.

Two models are available, one with and one without a clear polymer arc shield. The Meter Grabber with arc shield ring is optional for additional operator safety. The arc shield provides an extra layer of protection and shielding against a fault.
