I bought these to replace my old set which had completely worn out velcro. I wish this ergonomically design had been available 20 years ago. The old straight ones used to dig into my calf and made a long day of work even longer. Now I can climb all day in comfort if I wanted to but I don't because I'm just an old dog looking for a cookie and place to lay down
