Today was weird- not because of the pandemic or anything like that- but because when I look out my window at 11 am, I don’t see empty streets or bare driveways. I don’t see closed blinds or people driving by zombified. What I do see is people outside walking around their neighborhood, kids playing on their bikes, windows open to air out the house. And everything amidst this chaos is suddenly peaceful.
Yes, what is going on is serious but it has provided a time for people to slow down and focus on what matters-
