The Right Tools for the Job

Just like any other education track, becoming a lineman requires you to have access to the right resources. Tuition costs, books, supplies, and most importantly, tools. Acquiring tools is always a costly endeavor, no matter the trade, but making the right investment early on can set you up for success in the long term.  In many cases, Lineman Schools or Apprenticeship programs will subsidize the costs of your first set of tools, or work with retailers like J.L. Matthews to create partnerships to help offset cost of getting the tools you need to get started as a lineman. J.L. Matthews also offers applications for scholarships that help pay for tools too. Whatever you need to get started, J.L. Matthews is here to help! Please give us a call or shoot us an email if you have any questions about what you need to get started!
